Pall AcroPak 500, 1000, and 1500 Filter Capsules have a built-in prefilter that provides high throughputs and fast flow rates with serum or biological solutions. Pall AcroPak 500 and 1000 capsule styles have a polycarbonate filling bell. All Pall AcroPak capsules are sterilized by gamma irradiation. Pall AcroPak 500, 1000, and 1500 Filter Capsules can be autoclaved once prior to use at 121 to 123°C (250 to 253°F).

Pall Culture Filter Capsules finished product has been sampled and tested for bacterial retention per ASTM F838-83 methodology using Brevundimonous diminuta at 107 organisms/cm2 in cell culture media.
