VWR Enviro-Safe Thermometers
Nontoxic Contents
Celsius Scale: -10 to +110 Celsius
White Back
For total immersion in water, refrigerator, incubator, oven or open room environment
These thermometers have a nonhazardous, biodegradeable liquid that is dark green and easy to read. The construction of the thermometer is soda lime glass (not lead glass). Celcius thermometers have an accuracy of 1°C below 105°C and 1.5°C above 105°C. Accuracy equivalent to mercury thermometers of the same type and range. Glass O.D. is approximately 6.5mm. A statement of accuracy is provided to indicate instrument traceability to standards provided by the National Institute of Standards and Technology. Instructions for reuniting the liquid column are included with each thermometer.

INFRARED THERMOMETER

Hand-held infrared thermometers can quickly and accurately measure surface temperatures. Take infrared
temperature measurements not easily or safely accessable by direct contact thermometers. Applications for use may include checking air conditioning and heating systems, detecting loose electrical connections, monitoring temperature variations, and many more. Thermometers are easy to operate: simply point the thermometer laser at the surface, press the button, and your temperature is displayed in your choice of either °F or °C. When ordering, please specify the item code. Models are available with fixed or adjustable emissivity for broader applications. Numerous models are available for industrial applications and special environmental conditions. Images are available upon request.
